ddddkkkkvvvviiiissss displays a three dimensional bar chart of disk I/O rates. Each row
of bars on the base plane represents a disk controller (or host adapter,
or SCSI bus), and the bars within a row correspond to the disks attached
to the controller.
The label to the left of each row identifies the common part of disk name
for all disks in that row, e.g. ddddkkkkssss3333 for all SCSI disks attached to
controller number 3.
The height of the bars is proportional to the I/O rate.
ddddkkkkvvvviiiissss generates a ppppmmmmvvvviiiieeeewwww(1) configuration file, and passes most command
line options to ppppmmmmvvvviiiieeeewwww(1). Therefore, the command line options ----AAAA, ----aaaa,
----CCCC, ----hhhh, ----nnnn, ----OOOO, ----pppp, ----SSSS, ----tttt, ----TTTT, ----ZZZZ and ----zzzz, the _X_1_1-_a_r_g_s and the user
interface are described in the ppppmmmmvvvviiiieeeewwww(1) man page.
CCCCOOOOMMMMMMMMAAAANNNNDDDD LLLLIIIINNNNEEEE OOOOPPPPTTTTIIIIOOOONNNNSSSS
The ddddkkkkvvvviiiissss specific options are:
----mmmm Use _m_a_x_r_a_t_e as the maximum I/O rate from which utilization
percentages are computed. This effectively specifies the height at
which bars will be clipped.
----rrrr Display the read I/O rate. The default is to display the total I/O
rate.
----VVVV Verbose mode - output the generated ppppmmmmvvvviiiieeeewwww(1) configuration file.
----vvvv Generate a _v_e_r_s_i_o_n 1 or 2 configuration file for ppppmmmmvvvviiiieeeewwww(1). This
will affect the appearance of the scene although the metrics are the
same. The default is version 2.
----wwww Display the write I/O rate. The default is to display the total I/O
rate.
Only one rate can be displayed per invocation of ddddkkkkvvvviiiissss, hence ----rrrr and ----wwww
are mutually exclusive.
